The CleanColor sustainable non-aqueous dyeing technology is a revolutionary innovation which has the potential to replace traditional textile dyeing theory and practice.In the CleanColor system, the dye uptake is almost 100% in this non-aqueous system without adding any salt.The hydrolysis percentage of reactive dye is greatly reduced in this system,which leads to a dye fixation of above 90% on cellulosic textile fibers (e.g.cotton and rayon),comparing to the 60-70% dye fixation rate of the traditional aqueous dyeing.A high level ofdye distribution and color fastness can be achieved by using the adequate dyeing equipmentand conditions. By using the unique non-aqueous medium recycling and wastewater recovery system of CleanColor, the whole dyeing process will not discharge any wastewater, and the freshwater usage can be reduced up to 99%.
